 This beautiful combination of open design, fashionable pickets with curved settings and unique terminations, blended with the wooden posts, and stair treads presents an open, airy design that is warm, modern and inviting. The client presented their desire but pointed out the close proximity of the door entryway. Our Design Team, working with the customer, chose to utilize the open stair design to create a positive visual effect that minimized the visual perception of the close quarters.  This view shows how tightly the stairs had to come to the doorway to meet building code. This view also clearly shows the required offset dogleg, as the stairway met the upstairs wall. The open design provides a unobtrusive feeling of space that other designs would not provide. Our 3D Modeling capabilities allowed the customer to view the finished design from various angles, empowering them to know in advance this design would exceed their needs. |
